Need the experts here before Spending $$$ on better brakes:)thumbsup:).
My car has manual brakes that suck. It was originally drum-drum. Was converted to front disc/rear drum before I bought it. Still manual, hard pedal, takes awhile to stop and risk of crash is high here in heavy traffic Atlanta with people texting, etc.. Is this the right kit to buy?

I'm running into a similar problem with my 65 Belvedere. Someone converted to disc / drums with power brakes a long time ago. Problem is it appears to be somewhat of a GM knockoff.. and the plumbing is terrible. I contacted Wilwood directly. That seemed to be the more logical step before purchasing a set-up off ebay ( yes perhaps better price ) where you may get minimal tech support.

Having done a disc/drum with power swap in the past using a simple Jeg's kit, I would say, just watch your plumbing and distinguish front & back so you get a good bias.

Once you got away from factory stock, the "correct parts" no longer work and should be just viewed as a guideline. Mainly the adjustable valve will help set the rear pressure lower then the front so that they don't lockup. I do use that adjustable valve from Wilwood and that master cylinder type for a 4 wheel disc setup.

Thank you. I am somewhat confused however, as I thought the front - small reservoir, and large - rear reservoir were rear and front, respectively. What is the MS from ? Do you attach the MS to a power brake booster as well ? Thanks again.

SSBC kit for power front disc on 65 Coronet. Big reservoir to disc and small to drum. With adjustable valve disc get full pressure and drum are reduced pressure. Wilwood valve removes all other connections, on most setups you will have to make custom lines, only buy steel coiled rolls and add the Summit gravel guard. That way is the closest to stock appearance. I like the 3/16 tube bender Imperial 364FH for tighter bends.
