I am ditching my ProComp dizzy for the MSD unit. I had some timing issues with it. Enough with that, what I really want to know is: Can I mark the rotor postition and then remove the ProComp? Then install the MSD with the rotor in the same postition?

Part 2: How many of you guys are running the distributor locked out? I locked my ProComp at 34* because it was bouncing around. I want to know when I put my MSD in should I go with the light springs or just lock it out again. The car started very easy when it was hot when it was locked out so that isn't an issue. What I am worried about is to much advance on off idle.
