Capacitor: #P5999-ND is no longer valid # Use 4087PHCT-ND
The chip: #296-1974-5-ND can be substituted with #296-13996-5-ND
Best heat sink #294-1068-ND

or go to Radio Shack and get parts needed for less than $7 and have it done in less than 30 minutes. I made my own from RS parts back in the 90's..been steady and working ever since

Looks like I may have to try this. I will put it in an old reg. housing as I do have all the parts already here in my electronic supplies collection, so my total cost should be around .75¢ as I buy bulk. Most of my stock was bought several years ago so the cost was lower then.
