Just switched from Weld draglites over to Weld Alumastars on my 65 Dodge Coronet.
The Draglites have been on the car since I purchased it over 10 years ago. I wanted a change.Whatcha think?

I don't know Chris? I think the Draglite's look great on the 65'. Maybe they will grow on me.

What did you do with the Draglites? I am looking for a set of 15x10 w/6.5 bs. You wouldn't want to sell the rears would you?

I like the design of the rim,but it looks like it's in too far and it needs more backspace.Maybe the rim is too skinny to have that much offset.:tongue8:

That's what I was thinking, but no matter what it's still a bitchin' car!

What ones are lighter? I like the draglites better my self.

ALUMASTARS are much lighter. The tire is a 26" compared to the usual 27.7 and 29. I am use to running.

Heres a picture with the Draglites.

looks good are those the ones off your black car?

I like Weld rims- looks very nice
What are you going to do with the old ones?

In MY OPINIONthe best looking wheels in this thread are the charcoal ETs on the 65 Dodge. (or what ever they are as several man. made a similar looking wheel back in the day) They just look RIGHT on these old cars. I think the newer type wheels on ANY of these older cars look out of place on an original type old body.

i'm kinda parcel to the charcoal ones myself but thats just me.
