Dodge coronet deck lid dodge letter emblems

Still looking for 1 D for my 69 Coronet. I gave up on the narrower correct letters. I believe other models of the 68,69 Coronet have the last D I need to complete the set. These letters have the same pin alignment and spacing as the correct 500 & RT models but are slightly bigger. Anyone out there have a D ?

This is the number- 31025 2840 573

CORONET
CORONET DELUXE
CORONET STATION WAGON ? 68-69

Any help locating and or purchasing this letter would be very much appreciated. The D on the left is RT & 500 correct, which is narrower and casting flash was smoothed before chrome.
The D on the right is the one I need (a little bigger but has the exact pin alignment and spacing)

Hi Dave, I'm also searching for letters, but for 1966 DODGE letters. From above I read that you have id'ed the letters with numbers. How to find out the identifying numbers for the letters? Any ideas where to search?

Hi Bo~ If you don't have any original letters, you would need an OEM parts book. Search the Net for One. Maybe someone could chime in on here with the numbers.

The 1966 parts book lists the following numbers for the front and the back lid letters.
Front..

2579-781 (D)....782 ( O).....785 ( D)......783 (G).......787 (E)

Back..

2417-825 (D) 2 each.....826 (O)...828 (G)....829 (E)
