Read today about the Hellephant crate motor.
1000 hp, 426ci crate motor for your Mopar projects. No pricing announced yet but figure 20k range.

I would imagine you need a new transmission and beefed up rear end to handle it. Plus it doesn't say whether the electronics are included.

Sure would make my '68 GTX project get down the road! Now if I can only convince my wife to sell the house so I can buy one.

i guess if you like modern engines, (like many people seem to), it would be awesome

i work in a modern dealer setting, so i see that crap every day.

ill stick with the old stuff. i personally dig retrofit parts for the old stuff.

When my uncle came home from Nam he bought a brand new '68 GTX 4 speed car. I was 13 at the time and he took me for a ride in it. The rumble of that 440 and the raw power it had made a lasting impression on me. Later a classmate of mine bought a '68 Charger R/T and cruising in that solidified my love of big block MOPARS. Other guys a school at Superbees, Roadrunners and an assortment of other Chrysler products.
