Does anyone make 1970 Superbee hoods

flat , twin scoop- fresh air, center bulge, are the choices

A superbee did not come with a standard flat hood. So as he said there would be two choices on a 70 Bee. The N96 ramcharger hood or the buldge / pitch fork style that was the standard hood for a 70 bee.

Sounds like some good metal surgery is in order, and some creative craftsmanship! Matt here in FBBO and FCBO did some wicked good Hood surgery on one of his cars a few years ago!

Yup, I was giving the choices that fit.

Coronet had flat
Superbee had 2 options...
1. Powerbulge (I have 2)
2. N96 Air Grabber, "twin scoop" (flat coronet style with the twin scoops, one on each side)

NOW: Mopar Muscle did a neat "CLONE" these past few months.
It's completed.
It's B5 blue and it has a 69 1/2 "Sixpack" style fiberglass BIG SCOOP mounted to it.

I must admit, at first I did not like it but it is "kinda katchy"

LOL. That's why I've been looking for someone who makes that hood. It is so Kool! :) I've got a freshly painted Powerbulge and all the trimmin's. Thanks.

So is there truly any difference in a stripped down n96 hood and a coronet (flat) hood? In otherwords would that work on a Bee if metal were removed from the coronet hood?

you can cut out the two holes for the scoop and mount the scoops, airbox on a flat hood. Here's an a picture someone shared of the measurements. I've not done this yet to mine, but probably will. Someday.

Good question. I've thought of this but I don't know the answer. I've looked at the hoods on Coronet station wagons and convertibles and they appear to be flat 'Superbee' hoods. That's hardly an answer which I'd like to know.
