Does Hemi 4 speed suppose to have cover?

I was doing more checking on my 69 Roadrunner and found out that he tranny is a Hemi 4 speed so not original! What looks odd is the fly wheel is more exposed than I am used to? Should there be a cover or is there something missing? Here is a pic.

Yes you should have a steel cover that bolts on right over that flywheel.

Yep, you should have something that looks like the pic below. Yours should be the 11" if you have the 18 spline.

What do you mean not original? I thought hemi box came on 69's?

383 cars came with 23 spline tranny. 440 and Hemi got the 18 spline.

My 1969 (383) 23 spline tranny had an 11' flywheel. Some used a 10.5" flywheel. It's best to measure what you actually have.

All 69 B bodies used the 11" flywheel for bigblocks... 18, or 23 spline didn't matter

Who makes those repo covers? It makes sense someone is making them.
