You can't say anything around here anymore. I haven't posted in over 4 months and it's started all over again. Racers hangout use to be very good. You can't even have fun with a few of my buddies on here.

I was a mod for many years on another forum, and it's a pretty thankless job done by highly passionate enthusiasts (in the main).
I note you're not a Gold Member anymore, so I gather you haven't donated any cash recently to help keep the forum afloat.

You can have all the fun you like here as long as it doesn't involve insulting or abusive behavior towards other members....as stated in the site rules. I enjoy having a laugh just like most members here, but I leave the smack talk off the site.
I've seen what happens on other sites where two or three member's get all self-important and start trying to take over the site by posting all sorts of garbage, and slagging other members. This is a great site and a valuable resource for thousands of people worldwide, and I intend to do my part to keep it that way.

For what it is worth: I've a friend who belongs to some Airplane model forums and I guess the rivet counters are just as bad over there- taking cheap and totally insulting pot shots/swipes at each other. No reason for it really other than some people are just thin skinned and don't know when to step away from the keyboard, IMO.
