Exactly, those were good games back then. All about the game, the fans and the players. That was it. Don was part of baseball when it was at its best..and so was he!

anything he did on the field.

Tom Seaver, Bob Gibson, Whitey Ford, Don Sutton, and Phil Niekro....
That is one heck of a staff !!!

As we grow older, we lose our contemporaries...
