Door and lock clips

Hello Everyone.

I'm working on my first mopar (72 satellite) and had door locks that weren't functioning. I took the door panel off and found the plastic clips were broken. I took all the old clips out and want to replace with new.

Has anyone out there repaired their door and lock clips? I can only get one hand inside the door and cant get the clip ends pushed into the holes of the door mechanism.

You'd be better off to take the assembly out of the door and repair it and install as a unit. That's what I did although I also didn't have the glass in there either. The glass is fairly easy to remove though.
