My driver side switch is not working. I cleaned the contacts on the 3 prongs, but still no dice. The Passenger side works fine. If it's not the switch, where does the wiring go? I just got a bunch of stuff from RockAuto, but I ordered the wrong door jamb switch.

The contacts are a pain to clean.Pay really close attn to where they actually touch and clean there. Also they may have spread out too and cant make.O and I'm sure you know it has to ground in the threads so thick paint could prevent it from doing so.

I have to try again, but I think I had a poor ground. Unfortunately it is now in storage. Maybe I can make it there this weekend. Looking at replacement switches it appears only NOS is available. No one makes these?? Why Not???

ouch! driver's 71 switch id HARD to find, and when found, not cheap

check for continuity at the switch to see if that is your problem.may be a wiring problem a bit further in.

SUuuuuhWeeet ! I just cleaned the contacts and re-installed it. It Works ! ( car is/was in hibernation so it took a while.)
