Doug Rose won't be down for breakfast

Wow. True dedication to the sport and the fans, and especially the young fans.
I am awed by his faithful dedication.
RIP Doug.

Nothing wrong with a big rush before death.

Proof positive that an 80 year old shouldn't be piloting a jet car.

Especially an 80 year old with two fake legs.

Man what a cool car & driver, RIP! Would have been cool if it went to the salt flats.

Jet dragsters/drivers crowd is/are a bit off :lol:
RIP Doug

he was an icon , died doing what he does...

But;
I'm not sure what he was thinking
a trust vehicle 'not wheel driven' on sharp turns
short roundy rounder track, doing burner pops, none the less

Seems like didn't hit very hard, not at much speed
they said he was OK, out of the car, in that video too
maybe the burns {if he was burned?} is what he died from later

a bit confused

I always thought Art Arfonse {spelling ?}
was the pilot of the org. Green Mamba

Hell;
Chris Karamesines has been listed as 80+ y/o for a decade now
driving T/F dragsters @ 300mph+
now he claims he was born 1931, that'd make him 87 at min. :poke:
