Doug Thorley headers

Hello every buddy,
I found a set of Doug headers 151' for sale. I am just wondering how you guys feel about them, what areas did you have problems? It will be for my 383 that I will be dropping into my 69' Satellite with power steering and at the moment column shift. Nevermind I don't know why I didn't notice it before but they only fit 70'-74'???

They only fit what 70-74 ?? they may still work on the 383 in a 69 Satelllite, most 66-72 B & E body BB Low deck &/or RB headers will have the same part #'s...

I may have actually misread it. It appears 70-74' won't fit with column shift.

It says 86'-74' but I assume that it is a misprint and means 66'-74' since that makes sense.

They will probably fit but if they say not for column shift the torque shaft/arm between the trans & sub frame usually needs to be modified, with an upward arch added to torque shaft/arm, to have the exhaust pipes clear, there are photos/drawings of the modification somewhere, I don't have one at the moment... Maybe call Doug Thorley or go to their site, see if they have it there, in the "foot notes for installing" or something...

Thanks a lot! I found them in the instructions. Basically just needs flipped over.
