Anyone using Dougs D453's? They are listed for some B bodies but not all of them. I'm interested in putting a set on my '78 Magnum.

Just wondering how they fit up on any year B body. I kinda thought all 68 and newer A body headers fit on B bodies also. I have been told this a few times also.

Just checking because the discount is high right now.

TNT, who is offering the deep discount on Dougs Headers?

I just installed Doug's Headers on my B-body big block with P/S, larger torsion bars and very pleased with the fit and everything. I realize not the same as your A-body but I don't dsee the real difference. Used Remflex gaskets instead what came with them and used Stage 8 locking fasteners

I have an app on my Google Chrome browser called "Honey" that searches for discount codes on sites. I just tried it on Autozone for the D452 Headers. It knocked the price from $652.95 to $522.36. That doesn't count shipping or anything. That's a hell of a savings I'd say. Here's a screenshot in case anyone thinks I'm BS'ing.

Never heard of "Honey" but sure would check it out and possibly get some "Honey"...

Installed Doug's 2-1/2" ceramic coated headers on 1968 Plymouth GTX 440. As you might expect, there is not a lot of wiggle room when all said and done. A mini starter c/w heat protection, is a must, within the confines of these massive headers. Should you require access to your starter later on, lets just say, it will be interesting. The only other issue, that I have noticed so far, is the PS tube, when installed without modification, is extremely close to our b-body's stock, shock mount & PS inner fender. FYI :)

Excuse the lousy photo. I have others, but can't find them at the moment.

Wow, another lousy picture, but you get the general idea, of how close a fit, these are on a 440.

Good Luck!

Beautiful engine compartment Oldtimer. Quick question. What is this? See Arrow...

Oldtimer-I put 1 7/8" on mine. needless to say, I'm interested in knowing where you got your spark plug wire separators mounted on top of the valve covers from. I need something like that for mine

Thanks

Yup... I've been trying to reply, but my efforts are being interrupted by advertising, which is bouncing me out, in the middle of my efforts, which in all the confusion, I am currently trying to correct. Sorry for the mess. Hopefully, I can get my two replies in the right spots.

I've made quite a mess of this, when trying to reply to your question earlier. It appears, I got my wires all crossed up, when trying to multi-task. rofl.
Anyways.., the wire looms that you are asking about, are actually from Moroso's #72172 Wire Loom Kit.

That's the 20% off deal 20COOL10 and they send you a $10.00 gift card. Last week I used SUPRISE30 which is expired now. I saved 30% on the Dougs header and some Comp Ultra Pro Magnum adjustable rockers plus a few other items. Those Dougs D452 headers would have been 457.07 last week.

My order just arrived today. Shipping was free.
