Drag Radials Work Good!!

What did you bust? You didn't make an ounce of smoke from that burn off.

What was that ??, what broke ??

Rear yoke and u joint and twisted drive shaft

I am finding out 4 speeds are not as much fun on the drag strip.

Better parts

Damn, Oouch...Yep you need some much better/stronger drive line components to use slicks/drag radials at a sticky track, especially with a manual trans, that's for damn sure... Good luck & happy Moparing

Yeah Radial's work great. They also broke my rear on another car I owned.

I had some heavy n50 15 tires on an 8 1/4 diff before it caused the spider gears to jump. Now I have an 8 3/4 with light mickey Thompson radials. They are so soft and hook great.

Ah man that sux sorry to hear it broke on you. go Dana 60 for sure.

now that i am older i agree. the old days we had to build to handle the 4 spds because we use to beat up on the autos and then thechnology took over.

Yep they work well if the rest of the trans, drive shaft, universals, yoke & rear axles can handle it... I went 8.58 @ 156mph in a 3520lb 68 RR w/479ci & CalTracs on a 300hp shot of N20, on some old drag radials, some old 315/50/15 M/T ET's, 9.77 @ 135mph no juice... I have seen guys go much quicker even, they can work very well....
