Howdy all,

Been having an issue with my '73 Charger I hope you can help me out with. The driver side brake light and rear blinker are currently not working. The driver/passenger front and passenger rear all work fine. The green dash light is blinking as well. I changed the socket and bulb out and still no luck. I appreciate any tips you can give me to get it working again.

Check the ground wires.... and it's mounting....

It's a sign to rewire the whole car if you haven't already... Or you will be chasing odd electrical problems all over the car.

everything electrical goes through a plug by the drivers side kick panel before it heads to the rear wiring harness. If the ground is good at the socket like was suggested above and you aren't getting 12 volts when the brake is pressed check there. Chances are it's the turn signal switch contacts in the column. Try lifting up and/or down on the lever while the blinker is on for that side. If they come on momentarily you found it. The contacts are brass and may be corroded, worn out or may just have dried out grease preventing that circuit from working.
Hope this helps.

As above...^^.... both pass through the turn signal. You can find your car's wiring diagram here: www.mymopar.com

Trace the wires back to the column first and see if there is anything wrong there. The look into the turn signal switch.
