Hi guys- Checking with the experts before I screw up again.I have a 440-Cope 727 push button and Moser Dans 60 rear installed.I have the weight on the suspension. Is this enough weight for an accurate driveshaft dimension. So far Sharadon performance comes recommended but of course pricey-$500.Are they worth it or would the money be better spent elsewhere.I don't mind spending if theyr'e worth it.I know there's a lot of driveshaft choices out there-Thanks

For 500 smackerss that thing better be carbon fiber, lol! I think that is too much money, since I paid 165 for mine.

Joel-You didn't mention anything about the engine? The engine needs to be installed in the car before taking any measurements to be as accurate as possible. Engine with headers is even better. You're gambling if you don't have that engine in there. Judging from the HP Cope Transmission and Dana 60; you're planing to put some serious power to the rear wheels. For $500 bucks I'd call Strange Engineering and have them make you a Chrome Moly driveshaft. Chrome Moly is 30% lighter than mild steel and is twice as strong. Here's my recomendation. a) 3" x .083 wall Chrome-Moly driveshaft b) 1350 U-Joint. c) Chrome-Moly Slip yoke. 4) 3/8" U-Bolts w/Nuts. I'm guessing you'll need a length around ~53" but definitely measure it first with the engine installed. Hope that info saves you some pain and suffering.............

Thanks again for your advice which I have followed.I should write thanks to the godfather when the car is done.I'm told that Victory driveline is the supplier for Strange.I have a 68 Chrysler 440 [forged crank]six pack pistons-509 camI went with the stealth heads which I should have researched more.I'm cheap but I love to spend on my cars for the best-in other words the feedback on these heads has been mixed but on the other hand I'm not intending to race the car much
