Driveshaft question

Does anybody know if the yokes are the same between the Dana and 8 3/4 (489) rear ends? I've got a driveshaft coming that was set up for a Dana and just wanted to know if I'll need to take it to the driveshaft shop for a new end? Thanks

There are different size ujoints for both.

The rear joint on a Dana car is a conversion joint. The spice number was 1330 if I am not mistaken. This will adapt the Dana to the 7290 (large) joint on the driveshaft.

Correct, the original Dana uses the 1330 (same as most 3/4 ton trucks of the day).
