Gonna do a set of dual exhaust on my '63 330 318 wagon soon.
Will I have issues with exhaust fumes coming in the car, with rear window down, if I bring tips straight out under the bumper?

I thought all wagon exhausts were turned out to the side so as to prevent pulling fumes into the passenger compartments with the rear windows down. Of course, wagons usually only had singles.

Straight out the back, you'll have fumes in the car, probably even with the window closed.

The duals on my wagon come out at each end of the bumper, never had an issue with fumes in the car. The exhaust doesn't just go straight out. Think about this, I've driven my wagon in the rain with the back window down maybe 1/4", and had water hit the dash!

I don't have a pic handy, but have this video that shows where mine comes out.

When I had the new 2.5" dual exhaust bent up for my 68 T/C wagon I had them run the exhaust out like the other have shown....rear corners of the body and bumper, and tucked up so you can just see the tip showing. I do get some fumes if the back glass is open, but if you close the back glass and leave it open about 1-2" and have a floor vent, or side window open it will pressurize the cabin and keep the fumes out....at least it does on mine. ;)
