I have a friend that gave me a dual quad intake to sell for him. The intake is for a 58 vette but i believe the carbs are off an old Mopar dual quad. They are carter casting 6-1310 and the one with the choke has a tag which is 2631S.What caught my eye was that the choke carb is in the front of the intake and should be to the rear. Can anyone tell me for sure if these carbs are old mopar dual quads for sure? Thanks for any info.

They used carter carbs on the two four set ups, on GM. They normally had the fuel inlet on the throttle linkage side of the carb on those. The Mopar had the fuel lines on the opposite side. Different tops...

These do have the fuel inlet on the opposite side of the throttle linkage. Looks like they had to reverse the carbs to get the linkage to work out.
