dumb qustion...where is the dipstick for checking trans fluid on a 440 where do u put trans fluid in if needed and where do u put oil in if needed?.....and could low trans fluid cause a little slipage in revers?
Big or small block, the trans dipstick is at the passenger's rear corner of the motor. That is also where you add fluid. Oil is added to the motor through the cap in a valve cover. And yes, low fluid can cause problems.
