There is a clip (not sure of correct nomenclature) that attaches to the underside of the car that the aft metal flange of the front parking brake cable mounts to. The clip is secured in a small hole in a cross member of the car. The purpose of this clip is to lock in to the frame the end of brake cable housing. Want to make sure I'm installing this correctly. Does the clip get installed in the car first and then force the metal flange of the cable through the clip or is the clip pushed on the metal flange of the brake cable first and then insert the assembly through the cross member? I would think the clip is installed first then the cable goes in. Or does it even matter? Thanks
Frank

Pretty sure you have to install it in the body first and then install the cable. I don't think in goes in if it is on the cable. My memory is not as clear as it used to be, so I will let others chime in.
