Can some one tell me how to disconnect the cable from the parking brake assembly. I have everything else loose on the front brake cable but I can't figure out how to get the end of the cable off the pedal. It's a '69 Roadrunner. Thanks ahead of time.

Been a while since I've looked at one, but I think you just compress the spring then slip the cable out of the retainer.

there is a pin with a clip on back side of it you have to remove pedal assy. from car to access pin once out you can drive pin out carefully because you have to reuse clip then there is one bolt & retainer at base of pedal assy. pedal is held in with 2 bolts inside & one nut in wheel well is a little tedious to get to upper bolt might have to remove vent assy for more room. good luck
