Hi guys
So i am at the point of having my rear brakes almost finally done.
Short synopsis. Replace original housing with Moser. Found 11" brakes with backing plates from 79 Cordoba. All is good but I think the E brake cable from the backing plate to the lever may be to short? They actuate as I push on the cable hard but dont seem to push the shoes out far enough (housing is out of car). Of course been so long since i pulled everything apart.
Is the cable to short from 10" to 11" drums? If someone has a decent pic to.
If it needs to be replaced is this a boneyard find or does someone sell the cable to fit with the 64 Polara?

I got new cables from Oreily's for my 64, so that is a possibility, or Napa, AutoZone, PepBoys etc. Also you can get a new cable from Inlinetube or Classictube (the long one that connects to both sides and goes up to the trans crossmember).

Thanks bud. Saw those. Mine cleaned up really well and doesnt appear to be anything wrong with them. Also appears on the site their not specific for any drum size. But then when did 11" drums become an option? Not for 64 i dont think? So ordering a 64 cable may end up with same problem have now.

The end connections are the same, so I think you may need the intermediate cable and do some adjusting on that cable.
