This is the earliest 70 engine that I've ever seen. Built June of '69 and most all major components cast within a 30 day window Pulled some 25+ years ago from some lux-o-barge land yacht (C body) and always stored inside but not climate controlled. As a result it is stuck, but it is a lot of complete. Forged crank & balancer & 906 Heads to the correct valve covers. I'll take it apart, wash it, have it checked out for crax & whatever, reassemble for shipping and guarantee rebuildable for $2650 or come get it $1850 as is/where is or +S&H.

why was it pulled ?

'Cause ol' C bodies weren't HOT in the early 90's and still aren't today unless you have a Hurst 300 or a convertible. I'm not dissin' on them it's just a fact that A, B & E bodies have a bigger audience.

I'm 72 & have been in the car-biz in some form or another for 50+ years. Starting out as a mechanic after being an unpaid auto shop student/teacher assistant in high school for 3 years 'cause I was a self-taught gearhead starting with bicycles in my youth or maybe it was the top-of the line Erector Set that I received for Christmas when I was 7.

We have 4 sons who were active with me in their youth. "The family that wheels together deals together" or so I thought. So in the mid 80's when muscle cars had there 2nd explosion we jumped in with both feet. It was a hobby that went out of control. We bought cars & parted them out. We did the Mopar Nats for 12 years & Carlisle for 5 years. In 09 when the economy crashed we put everything aside and took real jobs.

So now I'm 14 years older and officially a geezer and it's time to lighten the load. Health issues and age dictate changes. I have tons of parts & several cars.

Have a GREAT Life & Happy Motoring.....curly
