Anyone else s garage or home shaking?

Weirdly enough, a lot of people up here in Massachusetts had felt it, not me personally but some of my friends had....

We had one in Cincinnati about 15 minutes or so before DC got theirs. One in Colorado yesterday...All on the same plate....kinda scary not on faults.

Yea, i turned the boob tube on, cnn is the first i came to, what i felt hear must have been a after shock they were already talkin about Obama being at the golf course and he knew, that sure makes me happy that he knows. brother. Probably be more around here now, cant remember the last one that shook this place..

Brian Do they have things on your local news where your at for places east of you like Conneaut or Ashtabula area's?

Haven't watched any local news. The wife called me and asked me if I felt the quake. I didn't but she said she sure did just north of Cincinnati. I am about 40 miles south of where she works.

Ahhhhhhh, what do you guys know about earthquakes :p

its been some years now probably 10 maybe, i was just curious if you might have heard about the house that blew up in Conneaut, fire works was the cause, big story all over here clear to New York we heard it was on the news. My wife and i are about 15 miles from there and we thought at the time not knowing what happened that someone crashed into our place, this earthquake reminded me is all..

Nothing but heat and blue sky here in Texas......

Shake Rattle & Roll

Anyone else s garage or home shaking?

We get them so often in Calif. it's kind of no big deal unless it's a 5+ on the Richter scale...

So I had the garage door up and I was leaning into the trunk of the Barracuda when I felt the car move...or was it me? Then I heard the roll up garage door over my head shaking in it's tracks and thought, "uh, thats a heavy door, I hope it doesn't come off it's tracks and come down on me and the cars". I stepped out of the garage but by then the shaking had stopped. First time I've felt an earthquake in Virginia.
Talked to a buddy who I was supposed to meet for dinner tonight. He's 34 miles from the epicenter, and he's cleaning up all the stuff that came off the shelves. Mostly a collection of diecast cars and tractors. He hasn't even gone out to the detached garage yet to make sure nothing had fallen on his 71 340 Duster or 68 Fury convertible, but he knows the 70 Challenger RT in the attached garage survived. Also called another buddy who lives even closer. He was on the road driving home from Massachusettes, and didn't feel anything. He's still a couple hours drive from home. I hope their house and his 67 Charger and his wife's 69 Hemi Super Bee are okay.

Supposedly they felt some movement here in Michigan (I work in Lansing and the building people sent out a mass email explaining the situation / why things were moving). I didn't feel anything.

Felt it in NJ. I was sittin on a stool next to my old tractor. When the stool started shakin', I thought somethin' was wrong with me. The I looked up at the hood of the tractor, which was tilted forward, and it was shakin like crazy.

Not here today...Shook really good In S.F in 89...Scared the hell out of me..Luckiley found a chinaman still open for business selling beer..

We live NW of Zdillinger/Lansing (Newaygo, MI) and I was in the garage sorting '66 & '67 Charger parts when the wife came out and informed me about the 'quake. Our daughter in Kalamazoo said she felt it a little bit. I didn't feel it but our son and daughter-in-law out in the Virginia - DC area did. They each had to evac their work sites like most everyone else.

The son texted that other than some ceiling tiles that fell, his work place came thru ok. They don't know about their apartment but likely the commute home will be their biggest issue.

'67 Charger, 383 auto, needs interior reassembly.

I was out in the shop when the chair started shaking. I'm thinking WTF ? Never occurred to me it might be an earthquake. On a related note:
