In the garage. Under the hood. Again.
All right;I may need to pull the S.F. out of the garage(after I completely rebuild the front end-yeah,another @#$%&*' issue:black_eye::black_eye::black_eye:) and park it outdoors while I do some revamping of the garage(i.e.;federally declared disaster area:rolling:);and need some viewpoints on the various covers available out there. Evilbay has a few available;but,do they freakin' fit? Thanks folks,as always! I'd rather $pend the $$$ for a good quality, long lasting,(fairly-) weatherprooof piece. Your opinions,please...

don't know about the ebay ones, but i bought one from my local autozone that fit my car F-body. had the band around the edge to snug it to the bumper.kept it on all winter with no bad effects to it.price was reasonable too.

Referring to them as the "Ebay ones" tells us nothing. There are many dealers/manufacturers that offer their products on Ebay. You need to be more specific if you are asking for someone to give a good nod to a specific cover.

Covers are made for different purposes. Outdoor harsh weather storage, inside storage for simple dust control.

Valid points. Let me pull some business names off Ebay and I'll toss them out there. For my purposes,I need more of an all weather type, since I live in Michigan where,if you don't like the weather, wait five minutes-it'll change. I've ridden a bike in 70+ degree weather in January and thrown thermal underwear on to work in the garage in June. This should be promoted in Michigan tourism ads!

It'll be used while the car is in the garage, but has to be strong enough to handle a couple of weeks or more of outside storage-heat,sun,rain and wind are all factors. No outdoor storage in the winter-I'll rent someone's garage before that!

I'm going to sleep-I'll get back to you cats in the morning...
