Kramer, of course, is looking to sell guitars, but it was nice to see their remembrance anyway. BTW Kramer was bought by Gibson Guitars. I hadn't heard about that until earlier today (prior to receiving the e-mail from Kramer) when I was speaking to a buddy who is the lead singer with the rock band "Helix" (they nearly made it to the top - and having sold 2 million records I bet many here don't remember them). Coincidence that Kramer comes up twice this morning.

Glad to see that Kramer guitars got bought by a quality shop instead of a bunch of investment bankers.
Helix was one of the few Canadian bands that I never saw at the height of Canadas rock music peak. There was a ton of bands that were huge in Canada that never seemed to make it big across the border. I saw Trooper, Prism, Toronto, Harlequin, Goddo, Headpins, Chiliwack, Aldo Nova and so many more that should have been bigger then they were. Saw Gerry Doucette play a bar one time when he should have been headlining. The same with Thor.
 
Gibson IS owned by an investment company, Kohlberg, Kravis, Roberts, aka KKR.
 
They had the video to their song, "Rock You", complete with nekkid wimmen.
