Just put a Edelbrock carb on my 1968 coronet 4 barrel, + & - on choke _ ground + hot side where do I connect the hot side to ? keyed hot ?

Blue wire ballast ( not the one with the brown wire spliced in, but the other side ) or regulator blue wire.

I ran mine from the battery off a relay taking signal from an “ignition on” power source. Popped in a seperate in-line fuse to protect that circuit then.

Factory spliced the power to electric choke where I mentioned, Run circuit. Can be made in many ways.

BTW, having ammeter source anything from batt is a mistake. Must be sourced from alt side to get a correct reading and loads balance.
