All,

As I am getting my new RR ready for the season, it started having some electrical issues - namely the dash lights are now on constantly whether the headlights are on or not, and the left front parking light is also lit as soon as I start the car. I assume it needs a new headlight switch. Has anyone else encountered this type of issue?

The only electrical work I did on the car was hook up the washer bottle which was missing when I bought it.

Thanks!

Sounds like wiring to me. I doubt its the headlight switch. But you can unplug it and see what happens. Recheck what you fixed, and as a simple test unplug what you hooked up to the washer bottle.

Sounds like more of a grounding issue. Check all grounds including where the dash frame is attached to the car.
I added an additional ground wire on the back of my dash cluster (see highlighted wire).

By all means check the headlight switch too.
The washer bottle pump has a ground wire - did you attach that to other ground wires?

Grounds do not make things come on by them selves.

Did you have the dash out to hook up the washer switch or was it just wiring under the hood for the bottle?

A bad turn signal switch will cause some funky things as well.
