It looks like the emergency brake cable ought to hook onto this tab, but the cable is ever so slightly too short -

And it looks like the clip and outer cable should be a couple inches further down the line -

Is there a way to adjust the existing cables, or do I need to have new ones made? If I need to have new ones made, who makes them?

Incidentally, it seems like the springs on these calipers were installed on the wrong sides. I had to swap them to get a clear path for the cable to get to the tab where it should hook up.

Sorry
Maybe something new to me ..

They don't have the brackets listed on the website anymore.

This video looks helpful -

Looks like the springs on his are installed as mine originally were. I need a pic of the emergency brake cable installed correctly in the caliper.

I would call or email scarebird. I used their front brake kit aprox 3 yrs ago.
I had a couple questions and they were happy to help out.

Here's another video on adjusting the parking brake -

It seems like this was/is a popular caliper for affordable disc brake conversions. GM used it on Eldorado/Riviera/Toronado (maybe others?) so they made a ton of them. It may not belong on a race car but I bet it's perfectly fine for the street.
