Engine Casting Numbers Decode?

I have 1969 road runner with non-matching 383 engine. Right side stamped numbers below head is: 5.17.67 Tab at rear oil pan rail is stamped: PT 383 H 2413851 VIN: 9A248852
Left side stamped: 2468130.12

5/17/67 - Casting date
PT 383 H - plant code and 383
2413 -Julian Date 3/6/68
851 - sequence or build number
9A24... - 1969 Lynch Road car VIN
2468130 - part number 383

Looks like a 68 383 that someone restamped the VIN. Do you have a picture of the VIN?

Cast 5/67 and assembled on 3/68 - maybe, not a huge stretch.
Assembled 3/68 in a 69 car - probably not.

There should also be numbers on a pad right of the distributor too.

Disclaimer - I'm not an expert, this is my hobby. I think my decode is right based on previous research.
