I"m trying to put max wedge exhaust manifolds on a 68 RR, alot of you know the engine needs to move forward about an inch or so for the manifolds to fit... DOES ANYONE MAKE SUCH A MOUNT??

Someone must have put a max wedge in a newer B body Schep

Gee
Perhaps Schumacher?
I have them for my 70 Superbee with a Hemi in it...
I know they lift the engine up about 1 inch...

I'm afraid to say you "may" need to modify your engine mounts, perhaps re-locate them on your K-member?

They are MOPAR people and the best at what they do.

even if there was a mount made it would shove the engine fan into the radiator plus 62-65 cars had the engine/trans sitting slightly diagonal in the chassis.

how many posts do we have going on about this subject?

I was always under the impression that the MW manifolds won't fit the later B bodies because of the difference in sheet metal and engine location - not just engine location.

i've got both 65 and 69. inner fenders/shock towers look about the same. core supports are in a different location and the firewalls are different. engine location is really different. the diagonal of the early chassis engine location is very noticeable. they ain't the same.

I'm confused...
