Can't remember if the 440 in the 69 RR had left and right mounts or are they boh the same?

How can you tell if your motor sits to one side?

I just took a measuring tape to my engine and its 2.5" difference on one side? its closer to the passenger side than drivers by 2.5" wondering if I inadvertently used the wrong mounts when we did the swap last summer? Started to notice when the air cleaner was visible through the scoop and it looks like it is off center to the left?

Engine is offset to the passenger side to account for mounting of the steering box.

Thanks, How would you address the air cleaner not being centered under the six pack scoop? I guess oval air cleaner and trayed hood just seal up with the gasket?

It has nothing to do with the engine mounts. All of the cars are offset to the passenger side. And, that has nothing to do with the steering box. Think for a moment about the line of the powertrain. As it goes to the transmission & the driveshaft, it goes into the differential... then, what happens in there ?
