Engine wire harness

This is for a 69 383, modified harness from year one. Where does this hook up? Does it go to the alternator stud?

According to the wiring diagram, there is a black wire for the alternator which is also spliced with a violet wire for the horn relay. If you can identify the violet wire is going to the horn relay then your right. It's for the alternator. Look at diagram "B".
