Update on Engler's Junk yard off I-81 in NE Penna, Bob who owns the place says they will be crushing starting now. Hundreds of 40's, 50's, 60's cars, most are beyond restoration, but you can easily kill an afternoon just walking around. Lots of cars with decent glass, stainless trim, decent bumpers, busses full of hubcaps and other parts. Closed all day Sunday, and also closed Wed and Sat afternoons. I would recommend calling first (570) 868-3990. Take I-81, Exit 159 Nuangola, head west 2-1/2 miles to 1768 Stairville Road. White garage on the left "Englers Auto Parts", stop there to sign release form and to get directions to the yard.

Near the burg of Wapwallopen.
Yard is located in Dorrance Twp., 2 1/2 miles
off Route 81 exit 159 (Nuangola exit).

Hours: 8:30 am to 5 pm M, T, Th, F
8:30- Noon Wed and Sat

I was there 3 days ago. Lots of great old cars, but not a whole lot of muscle era B bodies. Most of the sheetmetal is rotten at the bottoms. A lot of the quarters and fenders had bad patch jobs... like with rivets. I remember a lot of what I saw there. A few mid 60s Coronets/Satellites, maybe 2 72-74 Chargers, a couple 73-74 Satellites, one 71 or 72 Satellite, all two doors. There was a 74 (I think) Coronet wagon and a couple 71-73 Satellite 4 doors. If I can think of anything else, I'll post it. Lots of pre muscle Mopars, though. Great yard. I hope this helps.

I tried responding last night on my phone but then it died, I'm sorry.
It depends on what you're looking for. I was in a hurry and didn't pay much attention to any '56s or earlier, but there were a fair number of 57-59s. There was a 57 Plymouth 4 door, at least one wagon (not sure the year or make), I think a DeSoto or two (58 or 59), and I believe I caught a glimpse of at least one Imperial. I definitely plan on going back.

There are a ton of pictures someone posted last week of the yard. Its on the A-Bodies Forever site though. Under same post. Englers Junk yard.

My Buddy and i were in the yard today to get A body spindles for our Project cars. Here are a couple of pics. photo(98).JPGphoto(97).JPG

Did you guys happen to see any 68-69 GTX/RR bodies? I could use the front frame of one.......

Update. Englers says he is not crushing out now for another 2 years due to low scrap prices.

Well that is one way to get publicity for a salvage yard,, glad they arnt going to crush. its sad to see the old cars going to china

........and coming back to Walmart and Home Depot shelves as some other products!

Have been to Englers a bunch of times I live About 20minutes away. A lot of these cars in the video are gone, crushed. Some b body stuff 65 66 67. But not a lot of them left either. Ther are some 50's stuff but all of the engines are gone, I was looking for an old hemi. He said someone came in and pulled and bought them all.

Has anyone talked to him lately and ask if he is still holding off on crushing?

Scrap prices have been low for some time now.....surprised he didn't know that before hand.

Does he still have cars? I am only 45 minutes from him i never been there before.

I hear from a few people yesterday that he has about 700-800 cars left.
