For our European forum members, here's a question. What are the headlight requirements for our Mopars? I'm learning that that is the biggest issue when importing American cars to Europe. Are our Mopar muscle cars held to the same headlight requirement standard? If so, have you had to change headlights in order to meet the Europe lighting pattern and strength? And what headlights were used please?

Bedankt!

I would think any E code light like cibie bosh hella that install no changes to wireing
but relays help

In the USA, the only regulation for headlights (that I'm aware of) is that they cannot draw more than 55-Watts of power. There is no regulation on how well they have to light up the road though.

I know Bosch added the 3 glass nibs for the US required alignment system which is antiquated
to get DOT approval
In Canada we can use lights with E code SAE or DOT

something to think about ,if your right hand drive like Australia you have to make the lights beams shine onto the "other side " of the road. otherwise the light is in everyone eyes instead of the side of the road , I get the local auto electrical guy to do it

An excellent point. Which is why lighting companies like Hella have specific left/right hand headlights available. If you have a projector with a cut-off, you need the proper side.
