I've got a question about a 727 torqueflite transmission i"m overhauling. (built in 1975).
Reference Charles Munro's Torqueflite Transmission Handbook,
I think it's p.40.
There is a picture that shows the reaction shaft support with an arrow pointing to a lubrication hole. This hole is oil supply from the torque converter feed circuit to the front clutch drum. My reaction shaft support does not have this hole. Is it supposed to be there on all transmissions or added at later years? I don't see any way for the bushings in the front clutch drum to be lubricated directly unless that hole is there.
