Exterior / outside door handles for my 1966 , whats the difference ? or is there one

Off hand, 4 studs, 4 nuts and gaskets but the $119 set says that will all be included also in its description. I’ve bought repros for both of my cars and I thought they were fine. I don’t remember who they came from. I suspect if there is any difference between the two, that the quality of the least expensive pair will be every bit as good or better than what Plymouth originally installed.

How long have you had them installed and how are they holding up?

Chrome is not what it used to be.

I've seen a LOT of newer (15-ish years or newer) chrome discolor, pit and/or rust after less that 5 years stored inside and look worse than OEM chrome that's been on the car, stored outside since 1966.

I'm having an issue with mine
All pass side.
Twice I've had to take it apart to fix a bent arm.
Now the button sticks quite a bit when I try to open the door

Previous owner is sure he used repops....but doesn't remember who from

It's been a while since I bought any, but the last I bought ran 70-100 dollars. I don't remember what brand, but I bought middle of the road items and have had no trouble with chrome or operation.

The older pair is probably about 10 years old. The other only about 3 years. They look and work fine. They look a lot better than old, scuffed up ones.

The ones you surely want to avoid are truck handles.
They look "just like" car handles but the curve for the door panel makes them angle down very noticeably on cars.

Mine are still originals and still work fine but when I first got it in 88, ya had to push the button ALL the way in on the driver's side so I fixed it after my wife drove the car to her mom's house on a very cold day. It was icy out and figured it would be safer to use 'my' car? Anyways, she couldn't get the door open when it was time to leave and she had to enter on the passenger side after falling on a slick icy driveway when she tried to open the driver's door.
