There is an install date stamped on the engine pad when the engine is installed in the car. It's hand-stamped like the HP emblem is. I am in Northwest Indiana. Thanks Harry

If you look at eBay item number 352266554335 after picture of the engine pad the number below the E383 is the installation date of the engine in the car.

The install date of the engine is stamped on the pad under the date of the engine if you look at this item on eBay and look at the engine pad you will see a number stamped on there that is the install date . Thanks Harry ebay #352266554335
