Hey guy's I'm working on a 70 clone and it has a 727 in it now. But I'm wanting a 4 speed. I thought you would be able to just throw it in but I was mistaken. I found out that the hump for the shifter comes out a few inches to the left. So I'm wondering if anyone has fabed one to make a 4 speed fit? I'm fairly good at welding so I don't think that will be an issue. I just don't want to have to get new floor pans since the one's in it are fine. So if anyone can help me out that would be fantastic! Thank you guy's!

Floor pans are the same you just need the 4 speed floor hump.Just buy the hump and be done with it that way when you replace the rug with the 4 spd style it will fit and look right

Passion Performance or Brewers Performance both companies are manual trans specialists they both sell the small 4 speed hump portion pre-formed for a 4 speed conversion...

Sweet!!! Thank's I didn't know they just made the hump for it. That made it so much better!!!
