Has anyone seem or know were to get a close to or correct color in a rattle can? I want to see if I can get the T5 Bronze Fire Metallic in a rattle.

Your local autobody supplies store should have the correct colors/codes and make a can for you.

My local Dupont dealer can mix up acrylic enamel in rattle cans to match the factory paint codes. I've done touchup on base coat/clear coat with reasonably good success.

Ned's Auto body and supply in Pittsburgh, Ca, can do it just bring them the paint code $26.00 a can. In case anyone is in this area.

When i got my paint from NAPA they said they could make some put in a can. I'd check with them, although they are a little pricey

Here is a link to a company that will supply auto paint by code in a 12 oz. aerosol can. All you need is the year of your car and the paint code. I used two cans to refinish the engine compartment in my 65 Coronet. Looks great.

The problem with this as with all rattle can paint is that it has no hardner in it and does not take the abuse that the body shop paint does.

thats correct. i guess you mifght have to clear it after it gets tacky.

Exactly... a single-stage urethane will hold up better than an acrylic enamel.

I used two cans from automotive touch-up to respray my engine compartment and then a clearcoat using duplicolor crystal clear. It's just about a perfect match.
