Does your car have features that you mistakenly discovered because it wasn't obvious they were there or you didn't read the manual?

There are 3 on my daily driver,

The first one was about 2 weeks after I got the car and it was that my indash stereo actually holds 6 CD's, I though it was only 1 until I hit the load button, and it asked me to select which on to load.

The second I discovered last year, and that was the front passenger seat actually folds forward, allowing items up to 9 feet to be loaded from the trunk with the rear seats folded down.

The third I discovered yesterday. I accidentally hit the CD button on the stereo, and no CD's were loaded and it switched to AUX IN mode. I didn't know it had that, there's no button for it on the stereo, and I never have seen an input jack, well until I looked around and found it hidden on the roof of the glove box!

Crazy cars!

Wife's car has a height adjustment for the front seat belts....top buckle moves up and down.

Flux capacitor not an option in the Toyota.

Adjustable petals on my 2004 Dodge 2500 Laramie. I didn't know this for almost the first 2 years.

I'll probably get flamed for admitting to this on a Mopar B body site, but around the 4th of July, i purchased a 2017 Honda Accord, 2dr. coupe, V6, for the regular driver.
That thing has so many modern bells and whistles on it, that I'm never going to learn, or use.
Would you believe that the owners manual, CD, is 611 pages.
My other car is an 01, and lots have changed since then.

611 pages?!? It's a Honda not a Boeing.

I bought a 69 Barracuda fastback in 1997 and drove it around California for a few months. The trunk seemed huge, half carpeted and half with a mat. I shipped it home to the UK and a few weeks after it had arrived I was thinking how to make a carpeted panel to block off the small trunk area from the large already carpeted space behind the rear seats. That's when I noticed the hinged panel and lifted it and clicked it into place...

This truck is really really close ... minute 7:08

I have a friend that has a 2017 Volvo with a 180" sleeper, similar to the one in the video. It is basically a semi daycab with an RV body attached. He is in the residential moving business, so it works for him. Unfortunately, it's a very heavy tractor, so it doesn't work for me. I have to worry about weight, as anything over 80,000lbs needs a permit. They get very expensive.

driving my 69 imperial home in the dark listening to the factory am/fm , I went to hit the high beam switch with my foot , and the freaking radio changed stations , come to find out that was an option. there were two foot switches I never noticed.

My Charger....Once while jacking it up to take the RR wheel off, I noticed that it had an extra flange near the rocker. I think it might have had a quarter panel replaced at some time loooong ago. Every other panel looks original though.

I didn't notice right away that the way to activate the driving lights in the bumper is to PUSH the light knob.

That is really neat. Is it just like it switches between your presets every time you press it? Or does it just scan through all stations?

my daily 2005 Malibu has adjustable peddles it took me awhile to notice it.

Now that's funny!! Same here. Cleaning one day and hit it and heard a noise. Looked around and there it was, down near the bottom, looks like a window or door lock switch. I now officially feel better that I'm not the only one, Thanks!!!
