I started my birds restoration 24 months ago, now I'm stalled out trying to get back to work on it, and it seems like everyday me and my son n law get deeper involved with other cars, is this an addiction or what?

First, welcome and thanks for sharing. That takes courage.

We understand, and the first step is admitting you are powerless over your addiction. You've lost your power to choose restoration or not. You simply cannot say no. There is hope.

I honestly believe it is. I have a hard enough time focusing on one car. The guy I bought my GTX from had at least a dozen a bodies and a yard full of motors and parts. He just kept collecting and collecting but didn't do much with 90% of it. It was neat looking around but absolutely set my resolve to not let a bunch of cars and parts run my life.

Have you ever seen the show Hoarders? Same thing with cars.

Oh thanks maybe there is hope I just found a 68 parts car in the woods last nite

I only count 5 cars and some parts. I dont see any problem yet. When you get twice that many check back again....and i will help you find some more...

Ok well we going tomorrow to get a 34 ft 78 motor home to yank the 440 out. LOL TO PUT IN THAT CORONET and then maybe I can get back to the bird, thanks for the counciling all

Could be worse. You could have a closet full of shoes or a bathroom with a cabinet full of mens cosmetics.

I know the feeling! Lots of people know that I like old cars so they keep telling me about more and I keep buying them! I have 6 to restore and at the rate I'm going I will have to live to be 100 to get them all done!

You got some nice looking Bodies there!
I'm kinda jealous cuz I only got 1.

If say you probably have enough for the time being so finish the RR then the Coronet.

I think lots of us have a lifetime of projects. I have 2 old Chebby trucks and 3 old tractors to do once my Coronet is finished

I have only one 69 Roadrunner I've been working on for 3 yrs or so. I see projects I would buy all the time, but I have no room for them. Wait...I could rent a storage space. Hmm.. just how to present that idea to the wife..

I bought my wife a greenhouse, for Christmas, last year, she said it was too big for her to use, one of those tent like contraptions, so guess what the Duster got parked in it, maybe I should buy a her one of those metal outdoor two car garages for her new car this Christmas.... hmmm Thanks for that suggestion! of how to present it to the wife

No doubt that would be worse but no way in hell does that even fit my profile, work boots for work, tennis shoes for play, dress boots for church....No Cosmetics lol...
