Hello FBBO,
I'm looking for an OEM/NOS pair of felt window guides for my '70 GTX part #2932230. I was told they fit multiple applications even up to '92 Dodge truck. These are the felt guides for the side window that fit into the vertical channel between the side window and the vent widow.
Thank you for looking.

RA has them in the universal section, you just need to know the profile dimension. I saved a ton getting them there.

Those are the poorly designed reproduction ones. OP is looking for NOS I believe.

The 2932230 piece has not been available since August of 2018. There is only one manufacturer making a reproduction of the original piece. The material is not an extruded rubber product, but a flocked mylar material that is very expensive to purchase in its natural sheet offerings. Then it has to be formed and flocked and due to being a very fragile piece, the finished product can be quickly damaged.

Be extremely careful purchasing what guys claim to be original pieces as I have seen the reproductions being offered as the real deal. Either the vendor does not know better or does not care as the manufacturer of the reproduction uses the part number CHRY23320 which leads many to think that they are original pieces.

Unless you stumble upon a single or someone not knowing what they have, the going price for a pair of these can reach $500 to $700 per pair.

hunt, thanks for the shout out to 69bfan, I was wondering if he had any nos ones, looking at his response below yours it doesn't look like he does. You are correct, I am looking for nos ones the repro ones are terrible, they usually look like cork screw pasta when you get them and after install you have to be Popeye to be able roll your windows up or down.
Richard(69bfan), thanks for the, always knowledgeable, input. Hopefully I can find a pair at a reasonable price. I figured since they were discontinued less than 2 years ago someone might have a set laying around. I'm sure there are some laying on dealer shelves somewhere, I just don't know how to search for them.

I know that I wish I'd bought a dozen or more pairs when I got mine in 2018. Hindsight is 20/20. Tried to get a buddy that does this kind of work to tool up and he wouldn't touch it...

What was his reason, cost to produce or limited of market?

Like most, volume and PITA to make. How on earth did stuff like this get done with '60s technology. It's just beyond me! I haven't given up on it just yet. If we don't head to Camp this Summer I might get serious.

You don't have to tell me about the poor quality. I used them in my Bee last winter. Actually had to buy an extra set because I ruined one on my first try. Richard got me straightened away though, well as good as he could considering the inferior product.

I bought mine a couple years ago and I THINK I got them from Dante's. Might be worth a phone call !!

RA = RockAuto ????
Yes and they are flocked also. Take a look all are good quality that I have bought from them. Sold by the foot usually or a three foot section.

Aren't we talking about the mylar strips with the plastic clips? Not window felts.

Thanks for all the input and help everybody.
