Two questions on a 69 B-Body front fender install. One what are you using to seal the fender to the inner fender to keep the road wash out from under the hood. Second I have a front bolt kit. There are 4 longer U-nuts/ J-nuts. So two per side what locations do they fit in. I am sure I can figure it out before tomorrow but would rather have a game plan. Thanks.

if its like my 67 one on each side passes through the hood hinge also. The other longer ones I use in the last inner fender by the cowl where it is frequently shimmed.

the 4 long j clips hold 4 long studs and go at the bottom of the fenders...... there should be 2 short studs that go on top of the cowl and 2 other long studs that go under the top/rear of the fenders; one of each for each side (I leave the long one out until the fender is on, and install it from underneath)

3m strip caulk works well to seal but can get a little gooey to work with

Thanks. That answers my questions. My fenders and hardware are coming tomorrow from paint so I did not have them to trial fit. That will help me get off to the right start. I was thinking strip caulk also just figured I would ask as there may be a better product to use. Thanks again.
