fender mounted turn signals

what is the right type of turn signals for a 69 road runner? the fenders I have are a box shaped signal, and all of the ones I see are the bullet type. which ones are correct or are they both correct

My 69 RR has the round, or as you put it, the bullet shaped. I have seen the box type on some original looking unmolested B bodies as well but not too often. I wonder if this was because they ran out of the round ones. The more I work with these older cars the more I believe the most consistent thing about the factory is that they are inconsistent.
