fender part...help !!

just recently bought a 67 coronet and when changing the lower door hinge, I could see right throgh to the front tire...both sides...I believe the missing part is the inner fender splash shield. Checked with AMD and they have for 68 on up. Anyone know of a source for the part and if I'm using the right terminology. thanks in avance...

I bought repro ones made out of fiberglass from a guy on ebay (winslowmspts ) I dont see them listed but if you call he may have some. They fit nice and were good quality. Cost around $190 shipped. He listed them as 66-67 charger coronet front fender shields. 66 part book has it as Shield 23-34-121 (shield, dash pnl. to fender 2570 206-7)

No those go on the bottom of the front frame rails between the K-frame mounts.
The fender shields are sheet metal. Here is a pic of some for other cars. The are contoured to the shape of the fender sooooooo you need ones from a 66-67 Coronet only. No other years or models will work.

Sherman makes a set. www.rockauto.com go under body parts for a 66 or 67 charger (for some reason they dont list them under coronet but they are the same fenders and shields). I think they are relatively inexpensive.

Not sure of the part numbers but its 66 and 67 only. They have to match the fender contours and only those years are the same. Should work for the belvedere, charger and coronet models of those same years but that's it. they are pretty cheap through rock auto and I posted a 5% discount code which usually covers shipping.

Plymouth is not the same. Doesn't have the same body lines. 66-7 Coronet/Charger only

Usually Dodge and Plymouth are different.

jeggs shows the part for 67 through 70 when we all know the fender contours are different...but rock auto shows the same part number for 67 exclusively...plus rock is 20 bucks a side cheaper

Dawg I agree 10000000%. 90 percent of my 66 Ply Sat build has come from shopping eBay. Tons of stuff if one chooses to do the search....
