Fender Tag decode 69 R/T Convertible

I have recently purchased a very nice matching numbers 1969 R/T Convertible from Sweden. As far as I know it was auctioned in Pennsylvania and came to Sweden in 2017. I found a video posted in 2016 from Hanksters Hot Rods Muscle Cars in Pennsylvania. I emailed them but they said they don't have information on cars anymore that have been sold before 2020. I have found some decoding here in some threads, but only a few and I would like some decoding help for this tag.
Also the black transverse stripes should be V8X right, but I have V88 on the tag.

I'm very grateful for every information I can get and some sources.
I read there were 317 (source?) convertibles built of the 1969 model and assumably 203 of them had the 3 speed automatic transmission, 10 were Hemi's (4 of them 4-speeds) which would make 104 R/T Convertible w manual 4-speed?!

Have you looked for/found the Broadcast sheet? "V88" would be "Stripe Delete". Do you need the other codes? - these '69-up codes are pretty well documented and available. I would have expected an inspector's stamp or two on that tag...?

I just noticed your other thread. Car has been rebuilt to "builder's tastes"; Ramcharger added, interior changed, electric fan, luggage rack, probably a few other things if we start looking close. Still a beautiful and desirable car - just not really returned to "original" if that even matters.

Broadcast sheets - if they were/still are there - are often inside the back of a bucket seat, or in the back or base of the rear seat. Body number stampings - again...if still there - are stamped into the radiator core support and the driver's side rear trunk lip. VIN tag is obviously on the driver's side of the dashboard

You build date is October 3, 1968 (A03). That is why your car did not have headrests, which became standard equipment on January 1, 1969.

This was my first thought when looking at the pics this morning as well. No stamping and the tag is immaculate. Hopefully it is not a misrepresented repop tag, but that is way over my pay grade to weigh in on.

It's a remade tag but there is nothing on the tag that raises a red flag indicating a fake tag. It could have been re-made from the original.

Also check the VIN stampings on the engine and transmission. I would guess yours should carry the complete VIN in each location based on when and where built.

The accepted numbers for the US shipped cars are:

317 440 automatics
99 440 for speeds

416 440 equipped cars

4 Hemi four speeds
6 Hemi automatics

10 Hemis
